Picked these up at my local bank. They had them sitting in the vault already don't know if that's good or bad. First glance I didn't see anything on the ends, but some bicentennial and a lot of 70's. Looking forward to the hunt!

One is for me one is for my father. We will be going through them together tomorrow and I can posts the results, if there any interest. Since I'm new any clads or anything specific we should watch for outside the 90% and 40%er's.

Thanks

perhaps someone can direct you to a website with worthwhile varieties to search for, ill look for a dite for you but don't know where to look.

if you own a RedBook it should be pretty straight forward for the major varieties to look for.

Good luck on the hunt! Make sure you keep any 1987 P&D halves. They were only issued in mint sets.

If you see any 70-D's in your father's box before he does be sure to grab it and "gee dad, look at the time. Well, gotta go!"

The 1987-D was only issued in Mint Sets, so yes, keeper.

Do you have or are you building a Kennedy half dollar set?
