Mostly, I would like to know what a coin with/without separated rims look like. Additionally, it would also be nice it you could post some images of your graded coins as I am learning to grade.
there is a lot to grading to say the least, certain series will have characteristics that will not translate/compare to others (ie early nickels were often weakly struck and maybe appear "worn" when they are in fact minted in that fashion)
I won't muddy the water with UK CGS graded coins. If a coin came from the press and directly to your waiting hand they would prob deem it EF because you touched it lol.Severely harsh grading process. It doesn't even follow any recognised methods. I think because they are too scared to overgrade they go over the top and undergrade. I posted on here on TPG grading. 2 coins were virtually identical one graded by NGC and one by CGS The CGS one was favoured as the better coin just. But NGC attributed AU55 and CGS gave VF55. I see no sense in this vast gap. Actually it insults respected graders.
