I have two graded 1967 Centennial Dollars;

A Specimen silver dollar graded SP-65, Heavy Cameo, and a
Proof silver dollar graded PL-65, Heavy Cameo.

Think you can tell which is which, have some fun, test
yourself - take a guess.

I will reveal the ICCS holders tomorrow.

Left proof
Right specimen
ive come to this conclusion as I believe the speimen(right) has more definition on the goose' back as well as the queens cheek and neck. Cant wait for results!

Good test SilverDon-
I will also say the one on right is the Specimen.
Of course it would be easy to tell with the coin in hand.

I can't tell, but they are both nice looking dollars. If I had to guess, proof is on the left, specimen on the right.

Since everyone is going with the one on the right, ill take a stab at it and say the one on the left is the specimen just to have some fun

Nice dollars btw!

Is the left dollar a die rotation error as well? Or is it just set crooked on the obverse pics? Looks like at least 15-20%?

Left has a die rotation, maybe exaggerated by the position but it is there, 15%, good eye.

I can't tell the early Specimen, Proof, or Proof-likes. I do know that later SP are made with polished fields, but the early ones have a mirror field too like PR and PLs. Any first strikes have a cameo to them.

Hopefully someone who knows will share once it is revealed which is which

I also went with SP on the right, because the feathers appear to have more detail, and because you listed SP first. Unless you're using double-reverse psychology.

So it looks like Paulsz was the only one to get it .... wrong.
But I like your attitude in bucking the trend.
My psychological tricks did not sway the votes.
Here is a shot of the coins in holders.
Specimen was on the right, Proof on left.

Distinguishing features noted;
-> more definition on the goose' back as well as the queens
cheek and neck - UncleLuc

-> because the feathers appear to have more detail - kbbpll

Thanks for participating, and compliments on the dollars.

Oh and by the way, this is my 500th Post.

My determining factor was by looking at the rim.
On the Proof, the rim is rounded.
On the Specimen, it is more on the square side.
It shows up more on the Obverse side.
