I wanted to share this latest acquisition:

The entire top half of the obverse has a lamination/planchet flaw and the bottom half has two laminiation/planchet flaws (cracked) and what I believe is a crumpled rollover?

Yes it is. An image I will add to my library because it shows the under devices where the lamination peel off. SWEET!

Thank you, I was quite pleased when I received this. There's not many coins that I keep, but I think this may be one. Any ideas of value?

Thank you. It show what I've been looking for a time now. A nice lamination peel. Did you notice I removed the plastic holders from the image? Just a Photoshop trick.

Coop, Actually, I didn't notice, I guess it was done so well. If you would like any close-up microscope or macro pics of any particular area, just PM me.

I'll keep that in mind. I have found a lot of things I've taken images of, but others find stuff that I also need to have an image to answer the question. I have a some images that I've never shown yet, because the subject hasn't come up yet. So when it does, I've got the image already ready.

I have been trying to sell this for some time on E-Bay with no luck. I keep lowering the price every time it is re-listed. However, I don't really know the value of US errors and finding one similar is being very difficult to base a price upon mine.

So, right now, I have it listed as $44.95....

Is that Waaayyyy off base? Or are there no bids because it is not a TPG certified mint error.

If it doesn't sell this time around, I will eitherr relist it at a $0.99 start or send it in for TPG...

Thoughts?

Thank you!

Now that is a Lincoln that is so interesting....love the errors and varieties...I need to post a cent with Cud running from rim to rim along the same line as this where the die crack on yours is located......to be continued....

connicoins: Is yours a '44 as well? It would be great if it did match up!

I've pulled the listing for now on the odd chance that "connicoins" 1/2 Cud error matches up with my 1/2 lamination peel.
