My father has ask me to watch out for a gold buffalo. He has a good bunch of gold eagles, but has been wanting something different. This one came in at a LCS. I called him and he gave the OK to purchase it for him. Not sure if other members here buy for family members, it is fun .. but hard to send off the nice coins. I hope he likes it .. I sent it off today.     |

Who could not love that ...  I have no family members that collect except my kids and my nephew. I love surprising them with new acquisitions. Like a whole set of S minted ATB Quarters. Thanks again!  |

I purchased one in 2006 off a TV coin show for $800.00. Never purchased another one.  "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Its the highest at just over 337,000 coins minted, still not bad as far as I am concerned anything under a million is good  "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Thanks all ..
It is sort of funny .. over the years I have sent him a lot of coins.
Couple times 10 or more gold coins. He has never called about any of those
until he received them. He has called twice on this one .. and I don't think
he will get it until Friday.

Both very nice coins! I've never really considered them much but they sure are pretty. Once I finish off a few of my other sets, maybe I'll start work on Buffs.... ha! |
