I picked up a nice Flying Eagle a little while back and wanted to hear what the CCF Members had to say about it in comparison to Blue ANACS, before I send it to PCGS for a crossover.

Thank you for your interest!

EF-40 maybe VF-35. It's right on the edge. CE of cent is weak but that's typical of the series.

Lots of details on that eagle.... I'd give it an XF45 in the old blue holder!

Looks EF-40 to me. I don't much care for the blue ANACS holders, but why do you want to cross to PCGS? The grading fee is significant compared to the value of the coin. I'd save my grading budget for higher-value coins that would better justify the investment.

Just my opinion, of course!

The best part of this coin other than the grade is that it's the famed reverse clash with the 25 cent seated liberty. If it's not attributed on the holder, get it done man! Congrats on such a fine example.

Great variety I'd say VF35 from current PCGS, maybe in an EF40 holder (Blue ANACS)?
