Hummmm, a tough one for me. Looks MS, but obverse looks weak, and eagles breast feathers are weak. Looks AU, but might be technically as high as MS64.

Yes, that's my only concern is the breast feathers on all 10 are like that.

Beautiful coin. The lack of detail on breast feathers and hair is almost certainly strike weakness since the coin is otherwise flawless.
I'm going to say MS-65

First off, welcome.
Technically, the incomplete strike (as evidenced by the extreme flatness of the hair above the ear) ought to prclude an otherwise higher grade. I think it doesn't top MS64 for that reason, which is a shame because bagmarks are really minimal. All ten look precisely like this? It wouldn't take much variance to make a big difference from one to the next in terms of grading. How about posting a picture of at least one other? By the way, your photography is good enough to form a valid opinion.

This is a tough one because of the strike. I think the very highest this would get would be MS65 because of that, and if it weren't for the strike it probably would be somewhere up there for sure. If you were to send it in, IMO a TPG would give it MS63 or MS64.

Your title says it's an 04-S, but the pictures say it's an 04-O.
Based on the pics, it is a typical 04-O mint Morgan with a typical weak strike. Due to the very clean cheek I think the grading services would be very lenient and give it at least a 64.
There were beau coups of these things in the Government hoards of the early 60's and they are fairly easy to find in high grades.
Now....if the coin pictured was in fact an 04-S we'd be talking some serious money in that grade!

Again, thank you for all your input.

Coin # 1 is a nice MS64, the rest are MS62ish with #9 being an MS63 with #2 and #4 being close to 63.

Well, if you're going to disclaim the quality of your images, the least you could do is not provide quality images like this. A nice little batch of Mint State 1904-O's. I agree with the opinions regarding the first, and it's probably the best of them.

I've seen many weak strike coins in 65 holders. Not sure strike becomes a factor until we get into the 66-68 type grades.

If all of those were really fully struck coins with no issues I would see alot of them making MS64+. Most probably fall into the MS62 to MS63 range.

A local coin shop offered $22 a piece for these coins. Is that roughly the going price for common years in this condition or would you consider it a low offer?

To Low. Put them up one at a time on ebay and let the bidders have a field day with them. Morgans are always desirable.
