I've finally hit 1000 posts, after almost three years on the forum.
You guys have been so much help in guiding me as I have grown as a collector.
I thought back to spring 2012 this morning, and came up with some comparisons.
When I joined, I had maybe 3
Morgan dollars stored raw in an album page that originally held Kodachrome slides.
Now, I've got a third of the set in my Danscos.
My Lincoln Cents were in Whitman folders that were older than some of the coins themselves.
Now, they're in a Dansco, and being improved on.
I didn't collect nickels or halves then, but now I do.
I bet you can't guess what those are stored in.

I'd never CRH'd a box of anything, and now I am making that a regular thing with some successful finds already.
I went from not knowing what a commemorative was to shopping around for the perfect one to start a classic set.
My knowledge of coins has grown exponentially during my time here, and I'm grateful.
