T Steel, the Pike is beautifully done. I like the engraving, the motion, and the unique theme. The coin is visually appealing. I didn't expect the coin to be so nice. I also doubt it will be a theme which gets over done. I'm comparing to themes like: maple leaves, beavers, polar bears etc. I can't think of any fish coins.
You did better than me, it was almost 2 yrs before I learned how the post photos. It can be a bit tricky. I love it when photos are posted. Since people's taste in collecting varies and of course it's impossible to collect all releases. Please add the photos of the other coins as you get them.
What are some of the aspects you like about the coin? Is there anything you would of changed? As a new collect, set a budget and stick to it. Also learn about the different places people find deals, as many new coins get sold at a discount within a year. Track a coins price on finished
ebay auctions. I'm saying this from experience. It's easy to get swept up in the excitement of monthly releases.
This is a great community and also a storehouse of knowledge. Anything you'd like to know ask. It's amazing the amount I learned from this forum. It has saved me from making many rookie mistakes. I truly hope you enjoy the hobby!! If you can pick up a loupe, it will magnify your coin. It's amazing looking at a coin using magnification. It's another way to enjoy the coin.
