who went? it was great! I my self got some great toners from 1967 and a 1946 specimen cent EX Norweb in a green PCGS holder. I also bought a 1952 unc set with some real pretties in it for $60 and sold it to a dealer across from him for $125!, it was great and I had lots of fun. Feel free to call me Will.

Not sure I'd want to buy any coins there. Were they all polished?

I was hoping to meet but I didn't see you I arrived just before 1 yesterday because my mom called in the morning to discuss things. I was planning to arrive around noon. I've got a contemporary counterfeit Indonesian banknote (it shows in the colours of the printing), it has been washed and you can tell it because the paper feels rough like it was brushed paper. If you wash a real paper banknote it will stay smooth. This is currently the only one known to my knowledge, but I'm hoping some may pop up in the future since people stash money away fearing the next recession. One of the dealers told me that he searched for 10 years before finding one similar to his. Since it was also a stamp show I brought the box of 50s stamps I found in my shelf in Indonesia. They started curling when I brought them to Canada. It appears that the lack of humidity here is affecting them, and it is okay to press them in a book (unlike notes). They're not of much interest to me but it's always nice to learn more.

Were you there saturday which was when I went. Perhaps you saw me but didn't recognize me?, I was there from beginning to almost end, I had a dark blue coat on and was carrying a blue and black bag, I didn't have a gold pin on like I said I would cause I used it as a trading tool with a dealer.

I was there Saturday. I was wearing a red coat and carrying an orange bag. I don't think I recognised you because I would have greeted you if I did.

I would have introduced myself a little better if I had known it was you. My father was the older gentleman that discussed the type of paper used with this counterfeit, it was an interesting piece. Someone needs to create CCF name tags to wear at the shows so we can indentify each other, I'd wear one .

Yup, my father and I are setup at just about every show in southern Ontario, so there's a good chance we've already met. I posted some pictures of myself in the "Picture the Poster" thread, you might be able to put the face to the name. https://goccf.com/t/4344&whichpage=55So don't be scared to introduce yourself next time....my name is Andrew

Hi Andrew, I'm William. Where were you in comparison to the entrance? You look ever so vaguely familiar.

Hey William, it's kinda hard to explain, but I was in middle, beside The Coin Collector(Nick and his wife) and across from Tomasz of The London Coin Gallery.
If you're at Cambridge on the 21st I'll be there too, come say hi.

Hi fed_ink85 Looks like several of us were there but we didn't recognised each other. I don't recognise or remember faces as well as I would like so I would find some identification useful. I'm thinking of the CCF medal design, print it out and colour it if you want, then stick a pin behind it. Unfortunately I won't be able to make the Cambridge show, it's too far.
