Proofs are real bad to look like they are doubled when in fact it is the mirror reflection in the coins surface you are seeing. All that being said I will go ahead and go on the books and say I see absolutely nothing on this coin, not even Mechanical Doubling or Die Deterioration.

Edited to add: I want to elaborate a little on what a Double Die is. A Double Die is a die that has been stamped twice (not a coin that has been stamped twice)which means each and every coin stamped with that die will show the exact same doubling. Proof dies are specially prepared and inspected so chances are very slim to find a Double Die proof and finding one in each and every proof set that comes through your hand is down right impossible. Some coins are double stamped but they are not Double Dies they are just double stamped and I think this is what is confusing you a little (atleast from reading your posts this is what I gather) How to tell a True Double Die is it will have split serifs where you can actually see two letters in the same spot (for lack of a better description) some are very close to each other and can be confused with other types of doubling but a mushy letter is not a Double Die it is either Mechanical Doubling or Die Deterioration. I hope this explanation helps clear some things up for you and if I have left anything off or misrepresented anything here please someone let me know

:( I must agree with Bryan. I'm seeing nothing at all.

And I agree, all of my proofs I could have sworn were double dies were just reflections.

I see nothing on the coin to indicate that it is a doubled Die .

But please let us know how the submissions go .

Proper terminology:
Stamped : Stamps are stamped, coins are struck.
Dies are hubbed not doubled stamped.
Doubled die is the correct term as the die is doubled and the devices would be doubled if the separation is hubbed with a different hub/altered hub/worn hub or rotated/off set. The coins struck with the die (if doubled) will all show the same doubling. There are double/tripled dies as dies are hubbed more than once. Some doubled dies are on proof coins. The easiest to see are the ones with notches, but wider letters/numbers are also possible.

On this image your can see tripling on the lower out side letters.

Although minor you can see minor tripling on this proof Cent.

Notching helps to see a doubled die on proof coins.

Not running anyone down with this post. Just a clarification of terms. I'm sure I made mistakes on this post also. But someone will correct me if something is incorrect. That is how it works.
