I got a 2001 $10 note with the serial number 55505556 from the bank the other day, is it anything special? I thought it was pretty cool, but I know very little about notes so any help I could get would be great. Thanks.

It's special because it looks cool. But there's no special currency term where you're note can be grouped into.

close but not quite
If the 6 were a 0, it would be a repeater and a binary note.
If the 6 were a 5, it would be a bookend and a binary note.
If the 0 were a 6, it would be a repeater and a binary note.
If the 0 were a 5, it would be a near solid.
If the 0 and the 6 were fives, it would be a full solid.

I thought binary was just 0 and 1, like the computer language. I found a note with just 0 and 1s.

You could sell it on ebay as a Liar's Poker note. That's all I'm aware of, but I'm not an expert by any means.
