Just letting everyone know who doesn't already know. if you want to watch it its on tomorrow night on the 17th. There's going to be a 1791 cent in the episode and I know that people on CCF like coins so you would probably want to watch it on Pawn stars like me.

9:00 western time and I don't know the rest.

There's an MS66 on ebay right now for $10,800

So Rick will offer $100 right?

"....and it'll just sit around the shop for years... ask the Old Man, he knows. You gotta understand that's the way this business is and the demand is just not there. You might as well take my offer 'cause I'm not gonna go any higher. You can always put it in an auction, wait six months to get paid and pay a 30% fee."

Blah, blah blah.

hey westernsky, you know they put their own markup premiums on items they buy on the show too. About 30%-50% from what the "expert" apraisal was

*... side note, I was on American Restoration last year. A producer in new York found and item I had listed on Etsy and asked if I'd like to take it to Rick and be on the show... they pay you NOTHING! No travel expenses, hotel, nothing. they wouldn't even pay for the work Rick quotes to restore the piece. however my item I knew did not need restoration And that's exactly what Rick said and I quote "I'd love to charge u 3 grand but if I touch it it would loose value" I knew this already and decided to do it just for fun. Kudos to Rick for being honest however I was thinking he would quote about half that.... Then I jumped 900ft off the Stratoshere. It was a fun day!... thought I'd share;~)

829 feet to be precise, which is also the minimum distance I would keep from that jump.

Cascade...

I've bought stuff from the Pawn Stars shop and consider them almost like car dealers. Tough to deal with. To buy from them you really, really, REALLY have to want what they have. They said they don't negotiate on coins and currency but they end up doing it when the money started flying. I try to not go there now when I'm in LV.

Very true... but get this. Last year In may I bought a 2009 $100 new bill graded pcgs ms67pqm. They had $180 on it and I got him down to $150. Needed some money around November and sold it on the bay for $225 with the pawnstars bag as "provinance"... still can't believe I made money off those guys but it's what I do! Not much $ but for the turn around time on investment vs return, not bad!

I guess American TV has different run times. A year ago on this day I was actually in las Vegas and saw the stratosphere but did not use it. I might give it a try when I'mgoing in 2017. I went in the pawnshop and actually saw Rick right there, I noticed that the very small amount of coins they did have were junk silver. I was offered a Eisenhower dollar buy one of the employees.
