My favorite key date US coin :-)

PCGS as well..even better. Mines also PCGS but got a genuine holder for ED.

You can't go wrong with this coin. Always popular, always marketable.

I have my reservations about this one...there should be a full LIBERTY on a F12 (I did not read the thread before making my comments) and the rims are wore down also. It may be a weak strike or the angle the image is taken at, but that is my observation. Great date!

Was able to also pick up this key date as well tonight. The 1823/2 1 cent graded PCGS G-04. Looks very nice for the date and all is very clear as well for the grade.

Will you crack it out, then? If so, I'd think you could find a cheaper example at a show ...

I like this comparable one for the money ... around $50 less.

Ohhh no I never crack any of my coins out. I am not going to lose money if I want to sell it and up grade in the long run.

I agree on that G-06 (looks to have some corrosion do) but the seller does not ship to Canada. Plus I have purchased about 6 coins from the same seller so there is no extra shipping charge either.

Great find. Indians are my most favorite set. Actually all coins are. Canadian also

I should have bought the 77 or 09s back when I could have got the cheaper than they are now. I have been trying to get a choice set of vf or better. But when you retire the budget gets smaller

I got a nice 08s vf+ many yrs back for $10 area. Also a lot of red and red/brn unc and some choice copper nickle 60-64. I should have got the keys first. I need a few upgrades on some late 60`s and early 70`s.

I would like to have something of value for my 13 year old Grandson. That I got into the hobby. I gave him a near full set of LWC from 09 to 58 to get him going. And he will probably come to one of you folks to add to his coins.

Here is a AG-3 PCGS CAC

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1877-1c-PCG...em2edb47a5b4

And another PCGS AG-3 but not CAC

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1877-1C-BN-...em3a910ed0ba

I personally prefer the non CAC coin.
