WOW. Very impressive. Not sure what your ever going to do with all those but sure is a lot of coins. I'm just the opposite. I collected those only to fill my Washington quarter Albums and never collected Quarters since. Wouldn't matter since you now have them all.

I wonder ....
What if I pass these down ...to a grandchild ....than that grandchild passes them down to a grandchild.
What would collectors think about these, 50 or 100 years from now?
Thousands of higher grade state/territory/ATB quarters.

I think we incorrectly assume that since billions were minted that billions will survive for thousands of years. These quarters are being used in commerce. They are worn down or lost over time. I think your great-great-grandchild would be in awe.

I like to think that Jbuck. I think history does repeat itself. Like Barber coins. They were not collected very much .. it their day. What few collectors there were, wanted Bust and Seated Liberty coins. When 1916 rolled around, they wanted the Mercury, Standing and Walking liberty coins. The Barber coins were just used in circulation. Look how hard it is to find nice Barber coins now. Of course there are a lot more State Quarters, but there are a lot more people using them. And many people that were saving them, are now spending them or turning them into banks. I know it will take a long time ...long long time, for these quarters to gain value. But I think it is worth a shot .. What is the worst that could happen? I loose the interests I could be making .. Oh wait .. I am not really making any interest on my savings and CD's ....

What, you don't like the .01% the banks are paying right now?

The optimist in me says it is better than nothing, but the coin collector in me usually keeps that guy in check.

I guess in a perfect world, we all might do things different.
Yes .. not very happy with todays rates. If they went back up to 5 or 6 percent, I would do things different.

A smart man would invest in heavy duty joist hangers if he lived near you...

Hey there GR58 very nice organization. I got a complete roll set of bu State Quarters a while ago but I have to say that my organization isn't near as pretty. I sell some, save some, give some away and continue to buy the national parks quarter rolls directly from the mint. How does your wife print those colored and white stickers? I can't seem to find them in sheet form to print so I've been hand writing and hand sticking. Also I have to put a second layer of tape over the stickers or they fall off. Thanks for sharing!

Lily bird How to organize my quarter collection has evolved over the years. The boxes and tubes from Wizard coin supply. The boxes pictured hold 50 rolls. So I use one for P mints and one for D mints. Blue boxes for State Quarters orange boxes for Park quarters. I also have 10 roll boxes for 2009 quarters. The labels come from Office Depot. I too had trouble keeping the labels on the tubes. What works for me, I use cotton balls with alcohol to clean the tops of the tubes. Then when applying the labels, I add rubber cement to the backs of the labels before putting them on the tubes. I also am purchasing the ATB Quarter rolls from the mint, I like the quality of the coins from those rolls. The local coins shops near me know I have a lot of extra quarters. If they have a customers needing a complete set, they know I am willing to help out. I keep a couple filled Dansco's ready and sell a couple sets a year.

Awesome haul! I really like State Quarters - they are what mostly re-ignited my interest in coin collecting. Well that and the fun I had completing my 1973 baseball card collection finally after 35 years.

Great collection! I'm glad this got bumped as I would have never seen the thread otherwise. Did you find any of the Wisconsin extra leaf varieties?
