I was searching for some nice coin albums, especially for Mercury dimes, but I am confused as to which one to use.
Would this kind be okay?:http://www.colonialacres.com/produc...ocket-wallet

Any recommendations would be nice! Thank you!

The link you posted is for a holder that holds
2X2 coins holder. With that you can put any
coins you want in it.

I like Dansco albums.

I need to get some updated pictures. The two pics below are
top and bottom of page one of the Mercury album.

If you look around this forum you'll notice most here are rather stuck on Dansco Albums. However, there are numerous other brands available and many much cheaper than Dansco. On line you may want to check out Wizard coin supply or my favorite, Coin Supply Express. I have many different types of Albums but mostly Whitman. If you notice how well Mercury dimes show up in a Blue background.

One of the great things about a Whitman Mercury dime Album is the cover is large enough to add many more pages if you want to. I do things like that with mine.

Intercept Shield are great for high grade coins where you want to retain Mint red or Mint shine.
To me that's AU or better.
Dansco is good for lower grades since it costs less.

Dansco and Whitman albums are fine for lower individually valued coins, but a problem arises when top condition or valuable coins are preferred by many to be slabbed.
That creates a dichotomy as far as storage and display are concerned.

This one of the main reasons why I always go for 2x2's in non PVC album pages, despite the fact that an overall series can be much better displayed in Dansco or Whitman albums and especially preferred, if you have no intention of selling any of your coins.

Those of you who use Dansco, do you ever use the blank ones? I think I would like the ones with the dates, but with no dates I could put in just the coins I want.

I have two blank ones with blank cent, nickel, and dime pages.

The first holds my Indian Head cents, Buffalo nickels, and Mercury dimes.

The other is my "ultra-modern" album. I use it for coins that do not fit in my regular Lincoln Cent, Jefferson nickel, and Roosevelt dime albums. I made a decisions to give each of those three albums an endpoint since it seems like those series will just go on and on.
