Anyone know exactly/approximately what a completely circulated poor 1 or ungradable (too worn) example would weigh?

Around 25 grams, maybe a bit less if it's as worn as you're saying.

If it's in poor 1 it would be around 16-18 grams my poor/fair weighs 17 grams.

One of mine weighs 24.48g. I think a loss of 8-10% of the weight is a good rough estimate of what it would be in poor.

The lightest one I have weighs 25.57g, and it is pretty worn, with a hole punched through it.

Even 22.7 grams is really light. Have you calibrated your scale recently?

A genuine Morgan coming in so far underweight is one I think we'd all very much like to see a picture of.

Thanks. Had some disagreement when a guy posted a fake 1885CC morgan to a facebook coin auction group. He was so convinced it was real and got mad and said that decimal weight didn't matter. He put it on his scale and it hit 26, and didn't have decimals.

Well, when you consider that the allowable weight variation for a Morgan planchet was +/- 1.5 gr on a 412.5gr planchet - 0.1gm - decimal weight is important.
