I got this one to replace the one in my Dansco7070 that had scratches in it. Anyone wanna give a stab at what this one grades?

I just wanted to add, the top picture shows the actual color of the coin, I just changed the lighting and shouldn't have. Here is actual pictures (without any lighting changes between pictures) with it in my Dansco album (these are from my gallery photos in my dansco7070 category)

WOW, what a beauty and a very undercollected/valued coin. Only one year struck, the 1859 w/o shield in the wreath. Looks AU-53 to me.

Take Care

Beautiful coin! This one is AU53-55. It looks like very light wear on the reverse leaves and obverse feather tips. I agree, very undervalued coin. I don't know much about whether this year was weakly struck, in which case, it could bump it up to AU58.

I would give it a AU53, Wear on the reverse leaves from about 7 to the 10 o'clock position and rim wear at the 12 o'clock position on the reverse. And also as mycrob stated light wear on the obverse feather tips

Just want to clarify that I called it 'details' because it looks like it's been cleaned.

AU-53 and I agree it has some things that look like it was lightly cleaned .
