Jim, Driza-bone is an Aussie brand name of special waterproof clothing.
For more details see: https://www.aussiebushhats.com.au/c...php?cPath=50

As described by Muckeye: "A Short Snorter, is a bank note signed by a group of people who have a common aim or goal. It is believed they started with soldiers signing each others bank notes on the eve of a battle as a form of memento. However they have evolved a bit by todays' standards."

Aussie Outback Coats
The genuine oilskin Driza-Bone Riding Coat is generously cut. with reinforced elbow patches strategically placed on the inside of the elbows. The coat is made long enough so the rain won't run into your boots. The cape is designed to protect against rain and cold. Rear fantail & leg straps are designed to stop your Driza-Bone from taking off in strong winds.
