For what its worth Carlos & Ralph like Max Keech I assembled a listing of all previous known LCM's and this appears a new LCM validation stamp. The two stops after L&C only. To me its a fake - it's a much too early host with a validation stamp not previously listed in an auction sale from major collections in the last 30 years in my library.

Besides struck regals don't get validated - they do not NEED to be validated ...

Opinions?

That seller is known for selling very convincing fake WOI coins .
I have a fake silver Morellos 1/2 real from him, from a while ago, I've seen two pretty convincing ones a couple of month ago as well, they sold well (Zongolica and Oaxaca)
It's not a good sign, to start with . ;)

I may be completely wrong about this but I recall that the counterstamps were applied to validate cast emergency issues. I have always believed that to carry a stamp a coin HAD to be cast first. I have been considering all of the fake at the outset.

So my question is were struck regal issues ever countermarked by the revolutionary forces as a validation?
