I don't think I am going to change one of my dump banks into a pick up bank. It really doesn't make sense since this banks has the same type of halves as my pick up branch does.

Went to my bank today - where the tellers and I are friends. The head teller came out to me and said she had some news. I thought, "Oh no, here it comes... the fun is about to stop."
She told me her manager had said that they do not get their halves from the Fed. She told me the manager was concerned I was, by now, only going through recycled coins from their local system. Wow! What a bunch of great people!
And then the head teller asked me if I wanted to keep ordering or not. I told her in my last box I had filled a hole in my album )I did not go into details, but it was an impaired proof). And then I told her to let me think about it for a bit and just keep ordering as normal.
So what happens tonight? My curiosity got the best of me and I decided to do one box right away. Out pops another proof, and the first 40% I have gotten in awhile... along with a colored Brent Farve, a colored JFK where his effigy is painted, a couple 2012Ds, and a 1988 that has a raised rim on one side.
I am looking forward to the other 3 boxes and guess I will stick with this for awhile!
I also might just try another bank after a bit. But I will miss the people at this one.

I got another magic coin, but I can not get it separated. I tried using a needle and freezing it. Any suggestions?

4 boxes of halves this morning. 7 NIFC, 2 holed, and a 1976 Mexican Diez Pesos. The coin counter jammed yesterday at BMO and again today at Chase. I haven't broken a coin counter in at least 6 months when mixing nickels with halves at the same time so I try to keep them separate now. The weird thing is I had off on Wednesday and dumped at these same branches since I hadn't been there in a month and a half and had no problems with the machines then. I did some quick math and I am short $175 from the $6K I picked up between Thursday and Friday and what I dumped Friday and this morning so hopefully the stack of 1974D I have on my desk at work that I still need to look through for DDO's will come close. Everytime a counting machine acts up it always makes me paranoid that I will get shorted.
