Hello again Hello, Neil Diamond was just on the radio LOL, anyway cracked 4 boxes today 2 skunks, still ended up with 5-40%ers 1-65, 1-66, 1-67, and 2-69, also pulled 6-Clad Proofs, 2-72S, 1-76S, and 2-92S. 3-NIFC and one of those gold plated counter-stamped 1960-1985 on a 1983 coin? Who buys these? Not the best boxes, would always like to see more. Did have one Ender the 65 those are always nice. What the heck is up with silver prices, can't believe its under $14.00 an ounce. How far will it drop, me not very happy about this. Enjoy the pics.

Nice oics How low WILL it go Silver hit (about) $50 35 years ago Then traded in the $3-4 range about 15 years ago While I am not predicting $4 SILVER ~`~`~` I get really nauseated at some commercials hawking AG and AU in your retirement funds. While I was still getting IKE FED RES $1,000 BAGs I was getting some AG. searching IKE bags was a GREAT hobby while I could still get the coins. BUT... I did far better on the number of ERROR, TONED, PEG LEG, ETC. regarding ROI Seven BAGs, Seven Trips to the bank. Seven 4 mile round trips.

I'm with you, I don't like seeing silver so low, but I look at it this way it's not eating anything. It's still better than investing the money in CD's and drawing 1% or less interest. If it wasn't for making my bank tellers mad I'd be ordering/searching a lot more boxes than I am. They're already ordering me $2000. a week and taking $3000. in dumps, and if for some reason their courier doesn't deliver $2000. some week they make it up by ordering extras the next week. Pretty good deal for a pound of chocolates every few months. I sure don't want to mess this up by getting greedy! The head teller that I deal with most of time told me about finding a Buffalo nickel once and losing it before she got home, so I took her a Buffalo nickel a few weeks ago to add to her collection.

Arby, I expect silver price will drop further. This is good for me because I'm in a "buy" cycle. This morning I bought BU Franklins for under $7 each. I plan to hold my silver for several decades. By the time I'm ready to sell I expect the price to be very favorable. In the meantime, I like having the silver (and numismatic) valued coins as one of my assets to diversify my investment portfolio.
I also expect lower silver prices will increase CRHing finds for you (probably not me because I have terrible luck) and others, which is obviously good :)

Definitely good if you're buying, and I suppose it might mean more finds as well.

Last 4 boxes for the week. 2 skunks, still ended up with 2-90%ers, 2-64, and 9-40%ers, 1-65, 1-66,5-67, 1-68 and 1-69, also 5 more Clad Proofs, 2-71S, 1-72S, 1-76S, and 1-68S, pulled another counter-stamped $ on Reverse and 2 on obverse, and 3-NIFC. These silver companies are pushing silver so hard, think its going down below $10.00 an ounce. the reason I am so upset is I rolled an IRA when silver was at $32.00 an ounce so it a bit more painful to see silver so low. Its difficult for me to pull the trigger to purchase more silver. I like CRH much better. At least I am making a profit collecting silver this way. This is my 15 year plan now. Enjoy the pics.

Drove around today picking up 7 boxes and dumping some coins. I ask the teller at a dump bank you have any halves. I have never found any at this bank before. She said yes, I have $5.00. I seen the glint of silver on the end of the stack she was holding. I said I'll take them. Gave her 5 bucks and stuck them in my pocket. I never check them in front of the teller. This is the most 90% I've ever bought from a teller in one shot 9,90% and 1 40,%
