Picked up my Birthday boxes yesterday and no skunks, pulled 2-90%ers both Franklin's one my birthday year of 1960 and the other is a 54D, also pulled 6-40%ers, 1-65, 2-67, 2-68 and 1-69. 4-NIFC and one Gold Plated Counter-stamped 1960-1980 I call ripoff coins. Why not counter-stamp a 1980 Kennedy this one is on a 74. I have to say after a 4 box skunk Tuesday its great to get a hit in all 4 boxes. I pick up 4 more boxes today the last ones for the week. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May many silver coins find their way into your stockings this Christmas. Love those Bennies

Completed my most recent box yesterday and found one 1967 half. There were also about a dozen NIFC along with about 10 really nice 2001=d halves. All but the 1967 were released to resurface somewhere else.

arby96 About the Kennedy gold Plated Counter stamped 1960-1980 I have some 1983 Kennedy halves with this counter stamp that's three years after the fact. Does not make any sense to me.

I stopped at a bank in the grocery store on my way home from work today. They usually have a few loose dollar coins. I asked the teller (not one of the regulars there that know me) if she had any halves or dollar coins and she said she had some of both. She then pulled out a roll of halves from her drawer and asked if I wanted those as well. I could see the roll was already cut, searched, and retaped but I always take all of what any bank has instead of cherry picking to keep them happy. 2 rolls and $6.50 in loose halves. Skunked.

I have seen cut rolls like this in my area several time. I wonder if some teller is doing this looking for silver.

Hey Trapper,The Idea of the gold plated counter-stamped coins is fine but, I am with you, They should have been done on a 1980 Kennedy. These people must have made a mint on these coins. I seen adds for these years ago myself thought someone is getting suckered. I just finished my last 4 boxes for the week 2 skunks. I did get 1-64, 1-67, 1-68, plus 2-03 Clad Proofs, and 4-NIFC. Merry Christmas Everyone!

6 boxes the past few weeks after about a 6-month hiatus due to work.
1st 2 boxes were skunks
2nd batch of 2 boxes yielded 2 1964 and 24 40% halves
Last 2 boxes yielded 6 40% and a 1964

I haven't done any CRHing is a couple years, and wanted to get back into it, so I picked up $310 in hand rolled halves yesterday at my bank, ended up with two 40%.

Look at the completed auctions. Not saying they sell consistently for that price, but it does happen.
