Are any of you TN people in Murfreesboro? I'm not finding much here, so maybe you all are the reason

Quote: That's what I want to avoid, RCook lol. I don't want to waste time wading through your dumps. But since I'm a new member it won't let me message you. Are you more on the "hilltopper" side of the state or the "british" side of the state lol? Closer to the western side of the state. Most of my dumps go directly into bags at the dump bank and get sent out weekly. I haven't spent many at local businesses in the past few months.

Mahgoobi, I was there for work for the last month. I got maybe 6 boxes there and found nothing. I've been through maybe 200 dollars of loose change and maybe found 3 40%ers. Also, no luck in Smyrna and barely any luck in South Nashville. I just moved here so hoping things pick up.
Good luck!

4 boxes from last Friday. When I cracked open this roll and say the shiny white I knew it was too good to be true. It was too white. Turns out it was chrome plated Ended up with 3 40%ers, 1 gold plated counter stamped, 2 chrome, a proof, and some NIFC.

Skib, I know how you feel. I was in Omaha last August for work. No rental car so I put 2 boxes in my backpack and walked from the bank to my hotel in 85 degree weather...talk about sweating! Found 1, 40%er, and a bunch of coins numbered from "1" up to "14", so I figured someone had looked through 14 boxes fairly recently and marked as they looked. Anyway, I lost 3 pounds due to sweat :)

Picked up a box today. When I got home I looked at the other side of the rolls. Turns out someone already went through them :(

Quote: Turns out it was chrome plated I've come across a few of those in my time hunting too, kind of drops your spirits when you see it's not silver. I picked up 4 boxes yesterday afternoon. I've opened one box, but havent' searched it yet. Good thing is that there is a 90% Kennedy ender. I'm not skunked this week.

Only got 3 of 7 boxes I was suppose to get yesterday and they were all skunks. Get 3 boxes tomorrow my last chance for this week. Best of luck to all.

RCook, awesome score, haven't seen numbers like that in a long time. Glad to see silver in those numbers still around. Cracked 8 boxes yesterday after my Vacation in Oregon, 1-68 and 1-78S Clad proof. On my way to pick up my last 4 boxes for the week, need 9 more pieces to consider having a good week. All the best everyone.

I haven't CRH'd in a few months now, been on a skunk streak. Nice others are still having luck hitting silver.
