I found a $200 bag of halves. Decent score, but I was expecting more. I've found Walkers and UK pennies in smaller bags. Beggars can't be choosers.. 90% 1964 40% 1966 1968D x2 1969D x2 I also found 11 or 12 NIFC proofs in a CWR. They're almost a whole set from 2000-2008, P and D mintmarks. I also found 3 guitar picks. I guess I need to plug it back up and try them out!

Bank had only one roll today. CWR But the end coin, first one I saw, was 1964. Got me really excited, but it was the only one. Also got $75 in small dollar coins and found one 1979 SBA wide rim in really nice condition. That's a first for me (from circulation that is, I've got a few from LCS)

The last 4 boxes for the week all skunks. Though that sucks I can't complain too much. Was really hopping that silver vein would continue. Wishing you all the best. Look forward to next week posts. Have a wonderful weekend.

My box 4 was a skunk, but I'm happy with the first three, so all is well. I also did 2 boxes of small dollars today and scored a 1981P and three 1979 wide rims...still shocked that I got three of them in just two boxes. I also found a TON of NIFC presidential and SAC dollars.

Does anyone having a CHR buddy helping them go through the rolls? I just ask because my wife wanted to see what all the fuss was about after the big hits in December. She was about to give up because we have seen soooo many skunks lately.
After this week, she is hooked and can't wait to get more.
Sort of nice she is happy picking up and dropping off the change while I am at work. Seems to have a great relationship with the head tellers as well.

Quote: I went to a local CHASE bank today and asked if they had any rolls of halves, the teller said yes and asked how many I wanted, and just as I was getting my wallet out, he asked if I had an account with them, which I did not. He informed me that they never do transactions with non-customers. That really po'd me. I told him in that case it would be a cold day in youknowwhere before I would get an account with them. I have a long memory of such things. Did I mention it was a CHASE bank? So you're mad that a business only provides services to people who have an account with that business, and that you didn't get a service they pay for (armored car delivery of coins) for free? You're going to have to develop thicker skin and shrink your entitlement if you're planning on lasting long in this hobby. This is all a favor a bank is providing to you. Regardless of what people say that being a member means you should get whatever you want. They provide this service to businesses who need change. They do not have to guarantee you get boxes of coins, or certain coins. So find the banks that do and treat them well.

Numisma, you're right. I meant to say UNC, not proof. I put them all in a folder, and there are 14, from 2001-07.

I heard the best possible CRH phrase followed by the worst.
"We have 280 dollars worth of half dollars that a son of a collector brought in."
I was hyped. She brought them out and said, "I think the son went through them all though."
Crushed dreams. Found nothing. Oh well, they had another 50 dollars worth of CWR and found 2 40%ers.
