RCook, you won the Barber contest and if you don't respond to the emails you won't get the prize.

@ coin lover, thanks for the heads up, I'd forgot to check to see who won the contest and hadn't checked my email recently, I've now answered the email.

Box 2 had 4 40%ers and a 1964

Box 3 skuned

Box 4 had 4 40%ers.

Also ended up with a rolls worth of NIFC.

Nice score Jack and Trapper, I know what you mean Trapper when you get a couple of enders and only end up with 2 silver pieces, The odds are in ones favor to have more silver in the box when more than one ender is in a box. Sure gets the juices flowing. By the way has anyone else seen these Gold and White Rolls from Loomis? Is it new paper or older?

Picked up 5 rolls at my bank. Lately I've been asking each time I go there. Found this 1964, but that was it for all 5 rolls. Glad it was a 1964 atleast. Wish I would have kept doing this back in the 1995-2000's. We did it for a short time back then and we'd find 5-10 silvers a lot of the times, sometimes more. It's the first one I've gotten though since I started which has been a total of $85 worth.

@ jack jeckel, not a bad haul on 4 boxes. That stickered coin looks pretty familiar, I find them with the same sticker quite often.

Arby

I have been getting the same color Loomis rolls recently
and have wondered the same thing.
Two weeks ago I was getting boxes with yellow and the gold colored rolls mixed together.
This week I got some boxes that were solid gold colored rolls and some solid yellow.

@ jack jeckel, I'm in south central KY. Where are you?

Not a bad week for only 2 boxes. I got 2 90%, 1 1951D Franklin, 1 1964D Kennedy, 8 1965-1969, 1 1965, 1 1966, 4 1967, 1 1968D, 1 1969D, 7 2002-date NIFC, and 1 1987D NIFC. 2016 year to date silver 42.5658 oz.

I also won a giveaway here on the forum, prize 1 each 1964 Kennedy half dollar, 1964 Washington quarter and 1964 Roosevelt dime. The above year to date silver figure is from half dollar coin roll hunting only.

Hopefully the delivery service will get my order right at the other bank next week!!

SE Wisconsin

I thought maybe it was a local restaurant around here as I have found a few from a credit union 50 miles away.

Just performed a web search for Aunt Chilada's Easy Street Cafe, results show it's located in Hilton Head, SC. At least we know half dollars are circulating from state to state. If you ever find one with this sticker and an "X" marked on the sticker with an ink pen it's one of mine. I marked one of mine with an "X" one time just to see if it came back to me or not. Maybe I'll start marking them all the same way to see if I or you either get one of them in our future boxes.

Unfortunately marking coins seems to be a taboo topic.
I have seen many marks in my area which I equate to the same as street gang graffiti marking their turf.

Some mark coins and coordinate dumps at certain banks to try to pick out a pattern as to where to dump so as not to get our same coins back but after a few years in the game I can tell you you can't beat the system.

I wish more CRH would post the marks in their area as I am sure a lot of coins get shipped back to the Fed and then redistributed in the opposite direction.
