Good luck! a lot of boxes. I did find a 1970 s half though. First one of those and it seems they were not for circulation? I'm not sure but the first I've seen.

I still haven't found any 1970 and I go through 6 boxes every week! I'd love to do more than 6 boxes, but I also get 2 boxes of small dollars each week and dumping $5k can be a PITA...don't want to push my luck by adding even more halves.

Yes that is what I've seen. It is not in the best shape almost looks toned around the edges. I thought I was seeing things when I saw the date!

That is a great attitude RCOOK, one I follow as well, a positive attitude goes a long way and I always believe my next box will have some silver in it. This year has been awesome, with just over 80 ounces of silver. If someone starts this hobby they need to set their goal reasonable and can't expect to find silver in every box and they truly have to work up to getting several boxes a week to find silver. There were several individuals here that tried a few weeks but were only buying one box at a time and its difficult to get any satisfaction finding silver. They are no longer ordering. Good for me. I worry about burning out my banks managers so far so good. They have been awesome. Good Luck Everyone, and may you all be blessed with Silver.

Multiple boxes a week (or even a box every week) isn't really practical for me since I'm fairly busy with school work, but I'll take a box or two here and there if I can get it.
Would you mind posting some pics of the 1970-S, angel?

Sorry I don't know how to post pictures. I really don't like even family doing it since there are GPS markers somehow on them. I know I'm odd but I just hear of all the things that happen or can happen. I read about a program called 'creepy' a while back and it is just that. Sorry

Quote: First four boxes for this week all skunks, what does one do about it, pickup four more boxes tomorrow. Happy Hunting everyone. Just because those boxes weren't very good doesn't mean there's not more silver in the next box. Arby those are some nice looking 70 proofs!! Interested in selling them at silver spot price? LOL I haven't yet found a proof or SMS 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, or 1970. I have a set of impaired proofs from circulation from 1971-2013, wish I could find one of each of the years I'm missing. Most of the ones I have in the set are still pretty nice coins, but a few I'm hoping to find upgrades of in the future. Many years between 1971-2013 I have multiple proofs I've pulled from circulation. Maybe eventually I'll be able to finish up my circulated proof set. The only other Kennedy half I haven't found in any of my boxes is the 1970D. I have a couple 1970D's that I bought and am using one of them as hole filler, but want to eventually find one in a box to add to my Dansco where all the coins came from circulation. I should be picking up 4 boxes tomorrow and 2 more either Thursday or Friday whichever day I get by the bank, unless my orders get messed up again. I too would get more boxes each week if I had another good dump bank, but I don't want to overload the one I have to the point they stop ordering and taking dumps for me. The dump bank I have now is currently ordering me 4 boxes and taking about 6 boxes of dumps a week without complaining so I'd better not press my luck. They're also occasionally letting me buy other bags of coin off their counter, this is definitely not a bank I want to get on the bad side of!!

RCook, I agree you want to treat the bank you mentioned very well. Your finds are impressive. Surprisingly, I've looked through just over 100 boxes and I was lucky enough to find a 70-D in Florida 2 years ago. I was apparently very lucky!
HH all:)
