nice finds trapper, that walker almost seems to have some gold plate. I got smacked around a bit this week, my 4 boxes today gave up a ben and a 40% from one box, the rest a skunk. the ben was an ender that was on the bottom and I didnt see until I ripped the roll open.
so 2 bens and a 40% for 12 boxes for the week. Better than a skunk! I hope next week improves, but you just never know. Let it flow! Seriously, please let it flow next week :-)

Trapper you are rocking it, love the photos, makes me hungry! Its nice to see the gold and white rolls have some silver in them, I haven't had much luck with those yet. Only a matter of time. Keep it up!!

Quote: Thanks for the pointers. I'm not looking to buy, I just want a few examples for my collection. You're welcome. I wasn't serious about the "how many do you want", I just added that in there because so many of us in the recent previous posts had indicated we were interested in selling some of what we had found.

The Bank was only able to get 6 of the 10 boxes I ordered for last week. They said the company they order from ran out and will have more next week. I don't know if this means that there are so many people searching in my area that we have depleted their supply or they just don't keep that many on hand. No matter, the Bank Manager told my Wife that they will continue to order as many as we want. My Wife ordered 10 more boxes. They should be here on Wednesday.
I have only searched 3 of the 6 so far. The results to date: Box 1: 1 40%, 76-S Clad, 82-S Clad Box 2: Skunk, almost 2 rolls of 2014 Box 3: (So far) 1 40%, 2005-S Clad, a couple NIFC
I'll finish the remaining boxes tonight and post the results. None of the photos came out clear enough to post. I have a Blackberry for a camera. I like the phone but hate the camera. I'll see if I can use my Wife's phone for photos.
Good luck to all.

Here are the final results of the last 6 boxes. Some of this was posted earlier. Box 1: 1 40%, 76-S Clad, 82-S Clad Box 2: Skunk, almost 2 rolls of 2014 Box 3: 2 40%, 2005-S Clad, a couple NIFC Box 4: Skunk, Clad Proofs Box 5: 1 90%, 1 40%, Clad Proofs, 1 guitar pick Box 6: 1 40%, Clad Proofs I took the photo of the silver before I finished Box 6 so it is missing the last 40% I found.

Nice work, Murphy! I've also been in the situation where the bank could not fill my order because their coin supplier (Garda, Brinks, Loomis, etc) ran out of halves. In my case it was the beginning of the end of my locally searching halves because when my bank (3 months later) was able to get halves again, I went through ~50 skunks and finally stopped searching. The new coin facility was practicing first in, first out, so I couldn't get past the coins I already searched, and there was no silver recharge to the system because I'm in a low population area. Good luck!

Berto, I remember when you posted that. That was hard to watch. That has come to mind. I'm hoping that won't be the case for me. I will be ok with a few skunks, I don't think I have the wherewithal to go through 50 boxes of skunks. Keeping fingers crossed.

Two boxes produced a 1969-D 40%, a 1982-S clad proof, and a 2009-D NIFC. From what I read, these are typical results.

At least we can all be happy that Half Dollar roll searching isn't as bad/unsuccessful as Quarter roll searching ;p

Went through 2 boxes on Saturday that I picked up on Friday. Box 1 had an ender: 3 1964's and 7 40%ers. Box 2 had 1 40%er. Yesterday I went through the other 2 boxes I had picked up Friday. Box 1 had 1 40%er. Box 2 had 2 40%ers.
