Been a long time since last post... Good to hear of all the finds... And yes like most it's been slow here too... About 10 minutes from Disneyland...I believe my streak hit 43... Boy was it ugly...actually got one back when dumping... You got to love it... And not to worry ... When it is all said and done all of us here will be more then compensated for stacking...it will get to the point where the banks won't let us do it anymore because of the price of silver... And that day is coming soon my friends soon....keep on hunting and astacking

First four boxes for the week not good, SKUNKED!! April not turning out the way I would like it to be. At least I have pulled some silver this month. Sure would like to see those numbers increase. Nice score Jack. SjlundCoin great score on the 70D those are hard to come by. What kind of shape is it in? Good luck everyone! Four more boxes tomorrow.

i really don't think that the banks will be letting us do this much longer....think about it? Let's say it goes up gradually to $30-35....at $30 each 90% half dollar is worth$10.85....at $60 ...$21.70....dare I say $600 an oz...each one is worth $217....at what point in between those numbers do the banks say no more boys..... Just saying or is that just asking... Silver broke the $17 mark today....now I'm just saying....keep on hunting and astacking

What good would that do the banks? It's not like they can remove all the silver.

At that point all the banks If they can order them at all will be ordering at the very least for their friends and family not some poor customer... Which brings us back to how high will it go and how long will it take to get there.....Just my opinion...keep on hunting and astacking

8 boxes so far this week for 1 1964 and 4 x 40%. While my volume is up, my avg ag per box is going down. Might scale it back to 8 a week, but I want to ride this out a bit longer to see how things go.

Out of $7.00 in halves from a teller's tray, two of them were a 1964 and a 1969-D.

A while back I visited a small bank nearby, not too many branches, very personal service, great interest rate and no fees. So I opened up an account.

I stopped by last week and asked if they had gotten any halves or large dollar coins and the teller showed me 12 Kennedy rolls from a customer who had obviously carefully unwrapped the rolls and then put them back in and taped them closed. I took a chance on this one (never again, Loomis rolls, so the customer was coin hunting).

She also had 7 rolls brought in by the "little old lady" who was cleaning out her house. Here's what I found.

The marked rolled coins are clad for a total of 14 clad Kennedy's, nothing in great shape but a nice find in 5 of the 7 rolls.

They now know I'm looking for anything that is dropped of by "elderly" customers and any old coins, they promised to call me asap if someone drops off any goodies.

Although I normally only buy small amts of customer rolled coins now and then, I asked if the bank could order me halves and they said they'd try. Considering one commercial bank told me yes and then changed their mind, I'll believe it when the coins arrive this week. Problem is, small banks are down in the pecking order so it may take a while to get anything.

Smart money says to take the returns to another bank that has a different service so I don't get my same coins back. Have no idea who services them, for security reasons they won't tell me but they did tell me it's not Loomis.

I can dump at TD, Chase, PNC. Does anyone know who might service these banks? There's a CU near to me that has a coin machine I can also dump coins at but I don't know who services their account.

I assume most of you buy at one bank but get rid of the evidence at another one, both serviced by different companies. Any advice on how to plan my buys and dumps?

At last! I went to my favorite bank to ask for halves, and got 16 rolls. I found 1 1964, 3 1969-D, a 1967 & a 1968. This is first silver in a month. Next week I am going to order my first box.
