Trapper, excellent haul there. What a smattering of silver. I like your goal of 200 troy oz for the year. Its possible but will be tough, I hope the trends hold, and then you should succeed :-D

nice box 3 there boris!

layer cake, nicely hunted, and congrats on your first walker and a nice set of boxes. A good haul for sure

OK.

This one is kind of complex.

I picked up 2 boxes of halves last Tuesday the 7th. Box 1 had 3 NIFC enders and 3 albino rolls. I ended up with 16 2013's and 11 2014's along with a few off date NIFC straglers and a proof.

And now for the twist / rub.

Also in box 1 was a ton of coins I had dumped 2 business days before On Friday the 3rd I dumped $1300 at BMO and $1300 at my parents credit union. On Saturday the 4th I dumped $1300 at a different BMO and $1100 at Associated bank.

These NIFC were not in my dumps and there were some new 1974 D's mixed in the box as well so one of my dumps got cut with someone else's dump which usually takes a few cycles of dumping to thin out the original dump. I hope long time hunters know the patterns and understand what I am saying.

Now the unknown factor is which of the 4 banks is to blame for the instant reboxing of the dump. BMO uses Gaurda who use S & S boxes and I got this box from Chase who uses Loomis and this was a Loomis box. From 5 years of roll hunting I believe Loomis controls all of the coin the area as I have gotten Loomis boxes from Gaurda banks and S & S boxes from Loomis banks.

I've had this happen one time before and I had been at one of the same BMO branches that time as well.

The craziest part of all of this is that the soonest the dumps could have been picked up would have been Monday the 5th and they were already sorted, rerolled and boxed, and back on the street the next morning

Interesting, I'm surprised they got back that quickly. I though the boxes usually sat around for a while before being shipped out- my first box in October was stamped with a date of April 9th, 2013.
Does anyone else's bank use the service Diebold?

2 boxes today. No dump coins like last time.

Box 1 had 2 enders in the corner (one roll was face down so I flipped it face up for pics) and I thought maybe they were stragglers from a monster box that I just missed. that is why I liked the old days when I would get 4 or 6 boxes at a time because if this was the lead in or lead out of a monster box the odds would be good that it would be in one of the other boxes I picked up at the same time. Instead now it may be halfway across town or I might get lucky and get it next week if no other banks order halves which is highly unlikely

Box 1 had 2 1964 enders. Ended up with 3 40%ers, 3 1964's, 3 bent coins, and 2 holed.

Box 2 had 3 40%ers.

Also ended up with 12 NIFC.

Nice selection, even if I have to use the Image Zoom rotate feature to view it properly.

Well returned to the bank where I found 16 silver Kennedy halves last month, in customer wrap rolls. Went in and ask the cashier about half dollars she had 2 singles, the head cashier ask how many I wanted, ask for 10 rolls, she had them in the vault, returned with 10 rolls, I ask if she had more, as I had another $500.00 in my truck. Said 10 rolls was all she had currently. The sixth roll had a 1943 Walking Liberty, and roll 10 had a 1937 D WL., I was pumped on the last four rolls and wow on the 1937D. The '43 I can see the lines in the dress and under the stars. The branches are distict also. The '37 is sharper than the '43 but has tonning front and back, and is darker than I would like. Webekin

Haven't done a box search for over 6 months, learned my bank had a box that someone ordered but didn't pick up so I got it on a lark. complete bust, NADA, nothing. that makes 21 boxes without any silver....that's why I laid off for 6 months or so, probably done for good now.

Wow, take a week off and Boom! there is still a bunch of silver being found. I just got back from Prescott Az, While I was up there I picked up 54 rolls from 3 different banks, and all were skunks for silver, I pulled 2 88S clad proofs. I searched 4 boxes today and 3 skunks. I pulled 3-40%ers, 2-67's and 1-69, plus a 84S Clad proof. Sikbdib I was really excited to pull that Iowa Comm, with only 100,000 being minted it was a great find indeed. I want to welcome the new folks to CCF. I wish you all the best with this hobby. Trapper still amazed on how much silver you are still finding. Skibdib you too are scoring some nice silver. I pick up 8 boxes tomorrow hoping to see some enders and lots of that white shinny metal.

Trapper you are slaying it! That is a nice 10 Ounce Score of silver. Finished up my 8 boxes from yesterday this morning and ended up with 1 Ender in box 5, plus a total of 3-90%ers, 2-64D and 1-62D Franklin, 5-40%ers, 2-66, 2-67 and 1-68. That is a total of 11 pieces for the week. On my way to make a dump and pick up my last 4 boxes for the week.

Enders Excite Me

nice score Trapper! Arby, nice pickup, good luck on the next boxes. Looks like a yellow roll snuck in with your brown rolls.

my week started a little slow, 4 boxes for 3 x 40%, 2 boxes were skunks. Hoping today and tomorrow are better, but who knows. For all I know, that will be the only 3 keeper halves for the week!

nice finds, I see you got a box with the mixed color rolls. I was getting those type of boxes about 2 months ago.
The yellow rolls did not produced for me but the gold ones did. I hope your luck continues.
Getting 4 more boxes tomorrow from the bank that produced a bunch of 40% last week I hope to get some sister
boxes from this batch or the silver I found this week from another bank could be a part of this batch.

I'm a cent and nickel searcher, but with my son I decided to ask the local bank this afternoon if there they had any halves. The teller was very nice and told my son that she had silver, handing him a 64 JFK and a 63 Franklin. Then another teller said, I have two rolls. We were very excited to open up the rolls, given the writing on one of the rolls. Just got home to open them and wow. Just wow. Now I know why you guys do halves.
