The Mother-Load had 16 rolls of Walkers, 10 rolls of Franklins, 2 rolls of 64 Kennedy and 1 roll of 40% Kennedy. Gotta wonder where they came from with this grouping. I called the bank after I got home and inquired about other rolls from the same lot. The teller said they couldn't remember when they came in. They did say I had wiped them out of the
halves. Not to be ageist but I have my best luck with the young tellers. It is amazing the lack of knowledge some of these tellers have concerning coins...not that I'm complaining.

The younger tellers are happy to unknowingly give me silver from their tray.....but most of the older ones are definately aware!

My drought continued last night. My box had 1 1968-D (although it has some nice toning on it). I did have 2 2007, a 2008 and a 2009. That's my third 2009 which I find very strange.

Picked up two more 1k bags yesterday from the same bank. One was canvas and the other was plastic. From first glace the plastic bag looked to have some silver in it, but when I got a chance to examine it closer it as all nice shiney clad. Those plastic bags really make those clad look like silver. Anywho, I did about half it last night with nothing. The canvas bag was a different story. Not huge amount but I did get something last night that I had on my list I wanted to find. Results:

Canvas Bag
10 - 40%
1 - 90%
1 - Franklin (1951)
1 - Walker (1945D)
and....my first......
1970 in BU shape. I promptly put it into a 2x2 so I wouldnt sell it off with the others...

Plastic bag (half way done)

Skunk so far.

Has anyone heard of buying bags from coin-star? that would be nice, I don't think there would be many dumps because of the fee. Maybe I'll look into it.

You dont want coin-star bags if your looking for silver. My understanding is their machines reject it. And no also from my understanding, you cant buy them. This is all secondhand info I have seen on other forums, I never looked into it.

2 boxes today- also zip!

5 box total this week, big goose egg, not one keeper.

I must have gotten someone's 5 box plus dump!
Most of the halfs were 1970's/80's and pretty beat up, very few were dated later than 1992.

Better luck next week- can't get any worse than what I got this week :(

It was slow searching last night with the 2 boxes I picked up from the bank. I was skunked one box and the other produced 1 1964 and two nice S proofs.

6 boxes on order for this coming week.

Meanwhile, back to $50.00 bags of cents and lots of Jefferson/Washington Rolls
until the halfs come in!

Happy hunting everyone & enjoy the week-end! :)
