Road trip yielded 11 silver 40%. Was at one bank and the teller was forced to give up her silver to me because she didn't buy it before I came in. LOL she was mad.

Great Find.

Extremely hard to find in circulation!

*I ended up buying a 1970 Unc. mint set on E Bay , also got a real nice 1970 "S" RPM-001 in the same set, in addition to the 70D!*

2 Tubes of NIFC!?

I stopped at a bank today and they had $20 of halves. They were both in plastic HG Harris tubes. One was all 2005P, and the other all 2005D. I took them to get this 2 years for my collection, and "Hey! Free Tubes!"

Is there any point in saving the rest of these? I don't know coin grading well enough to give an accurate impression, but most of these look pretty pristine - no scratches, very shiny etc. Is there any sort of premium attached to these in AU or better condition?

Thanks

John Paul

You can certainly put a couple aside - no harm since they were obtained at face value. You can always try selling the rest on the forum on on ebay.

Picking up another "BRINKS BOX" today- so far 3 Brinks boxes over the past few weeks have been pretty bad, hopefully this is the one that gets better! Post results later.

Regular Fed Boxes for the rest of this week.

Road tripped to some smaller towns yesterday. Of hand rolled rolls and a couple extra loose coin from 3 different banks totaling $414 I got 7 40% and 2 90%. Have a bag off the coin counter at another bank that I need to go thru yet. Happy with the finds so far...

It's been pretty dry recently but I did find a few Franklins and silver JFKs at Wells Fargo yesterday. One 1965 half appears to be mint state and has beautiful toning. My photos don't do it justice. This coin is so attractive I'm thinking I may want to have it slabbed. Unless there is light wear hiding under the tone I think it could earn a mint-state "star" grade from NGC. Even if I'm being too optimistic, it sure is purty!

Nice find Joabler. One of the silver that I found yesterday is similar with toning, not near as purrrty as yours. I will see if I cant figure out how to post a pic here. In the middle of a snowstorm in Sioux City Iowa, I have my bag to go thru from yesterday but may have to buy a box of dimes or nickels if I'm going to be couped up for a day or so...

I use wells as well. I occasionally am near Sioux City with my roll hunting (2-3x a year) so I figured I would not dump at your favorite bank on accident.

Things have been slow here! Over the last 4 weeks I've managed 4-40% and 1-90%. I keep on finding major dump banks
and getting the rolls that have been marked "*" and "X", and to add insult to injury,
there's another searcher marking his rolls with a Black Sharpie with an "O" (He likes to
short most of his rolls). I lost $4.00 out of the last 10 rolls searched.
