3 boxes from Wells tomorrow! Been putting together a set of dimes, wow, now that is hard on the eyes. I can see that I wont be searching for silver in dimes. Did get a box of nickel as well. Has anyone gotten divorced because of getting hooked on looking thru coins?  Way way way addicting... Happy hunting! |

I got a total of 6 boxes yesterday 2 from one bank and 4 from another. All the boxes were good.

Just picked up $521.50 from one bank, thinking it was a dump, but it was great. This one lot got me to my goal of getting 100 40% for the year! 1043 coins, 48 40%, 4 90% and 1 74D DDO BU 2009 JFK roll searching ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2009 totals Total searched: 6227 coins ($3113.50) all customer rolled 40% silver: 103 (1.7%) 90% silver: 9 (2 Franklin, 54, 60D AU) NIFC: 97 (01P- 23, 02D- 1, 03D-1, 04P- 11, 04D- 3, 05P- 33, 05D- 16) Proof: 1 (89S) Other: 1974D DDO- 4 (1 BU) |

Nice score mycrob, and I think I will have to copy your idea of keeping the tally at the bottom of the screen for next year. I'm going to start to keep better stats and probably do the same thing with nickels and cents.

I missed the order date this week so no halves. Have 4 ordered for next week though. I think I am obsessed with roll searching halves, nickels and starting cents. Just waiting for my wife to say something. Maybe if I get some boxes like I read about on here she wont mind so much.

Box 1 from Wells yielded an 87 proof. No silver, so is that still considered a skunk box?

For me a skunk box is where I get nothing at all of value out of the search. If you needed the 87 proof for your collection then by all means the box was not a skunk.
