Ben Cartwright SASS Valued Member United States 107 Posts	Posted 02/14/2018 12:50 pm Went to the bank to dump halves, filled the bag, when they were changing it I watched, I could see AT LEAST 10 SILVER HALVES!!! I pleaded with them to sell me the bag and they said no, it has to go to the fed (right!) I do know that they use Loomis so in they should be coming back in boxes soon. I wonder what the turnaround is on halves from the car companies? My pickup banks all seem to use Garda, may have to order a couple boxes from this bank in a few weeks and I may get a Loomis dump. I will call the main branch and beg to buy the coins but it seems to be most banks in the metro Boston area won't sell bags Report this Post to the Staff

When I got home I called the VP at the main branch and asked about it and it was still no. I asked what car company they use and they won't tell, it is a state secret. I didn't want to tell her that one of the branch managers told me they use Loomis and I asked for a roll of dimes and it said Loomis that is a clue I am not sure what day Loomis shows up some banks are Tuesday some are Thursday, if it is tomorrow that bag could show back up in boxes as early as next week so I think I will go to that branch tomorrow and order a couple boxes of halves and for the next month of so increase my weekly boxes from 2 to 4, keep getting the boxes from my current bank that have been good and try two boxes a week at today's bank to see if I can score that silver Report this Post to the Staff
pan4au Valued Member United States 190 Posts	Posted 02/14/2018 6:34 pm After I dumped some dimes today I stopped at a few banks looking for Kennedy half dollars and Eisenhower dollars. I didn't find any Ikes but I found some halves. 1 bank had 3 coins one of them was a 1967 40%. I got $50 from a second bank and $35 from a third. Out of that $85 I found a 2004 NIFC and a 1983p with no fg. I also found a 1957d wheat in a "take a penny leave a penny" tray at a convenience store. Yesterday I found a bent clad dime and bent zinc cent. I also found another bank branch to order halves. They ordered me some and I should get them next Tuesday if they don't get delivered too late, if so, Wednesday Report this Post to the Staff
arby96 Pillar of the Community United States 2111 Posts	Posted 02/14/2018 7:07 pm Silver continues to flow here, its a nice trickle for sure, Out of 4 boxes only one skunk, Scored 11 pieces of silver, 3-64, 1-65, 1-66, 2-67 and 4-68 also one 98S Clad proof and 4-08 NIFCs. Also had 2 enders with silver and one proof. That 19 pieces for the week, and 4 more boxes I pick up tomorrow. Wishing you all the best of luck. First box had 1 40% so not a skunk. The SECOND BOX WAS A MONSTER 43 40% and 18 90% including 8 Franklins and 3 Walkers OMG what a box what a streak of 2 weeks!! There was one Franklin ender and 1 40% ender that I didn't notice until I opened the roll. I am still blown away last weeks box Report this Post to the Staff
