Ah, thanks Cougar. I'll still keep it as I've been through probably 25-30 boxes and it's a first!

YES! Absolutely a cool find, and a keeper. As I mentioned in a previous post, I've found 2 Commemoratives in the past 3 weeks. No other way for coins like that ---- and your gold plated one --- to get into circulation unless someone is purposely dumping a relatives collection.

My last 2 boxes were a bust. No silver, but a 1994S was the only keeper. There were at least 12 different marks from hunters in the 2 boxes. Webekin

Last two $100 buys were skunks. But we bought a used car on Saturday, and the dealer paid us $2 for completing a 4 question survey. When it was done, I was handed four Kennedy halves (cupro-nickel). I asked if I could see the stash, and was told that the used car manager was a coin collector as well. Asked him where he got his halves, and he stated at all the downtown banks. Asked if he saw much silver, and he said 5 or 6 for every purchase of $20-$30 face. I'm going to have to check out these banks.

Arrived home last night, Picked up 8 boxes today 6 skunks, Ended up with 4-40%ers and 1-74D DDO, This is my 114th DDO and this is the first one I noticed the "E" in "WE" with doubling I can see. I pulled 2-66, 1-67, and 1-68. Not the best and better than O. Congrats on everyone's finds during my week away. Outstanding! Note taking a closer look the "W" shows strong doubling as well. I guess I just spent too much time looking at the "R" in "TRUST, I have checked several other DDO's and that strong doubling is not there.
