John77 Outstanding score on the CWR!, I love when stuff like that happens, still amazes me more tellers do not pull these coins for themselves. Good for us though. Congrats!!

Thanks, pan4au, cabowabo, jbuck, aristarchus123, and arby96!
After having very little luck with these kind of 90% finds, the past three months have been quite the windfall... Just keep plugging away and asking... you just never know what is around the corner!

Great finds John77! My bank only has MWR's. I did get a 40% silver half once from my bank though (it was a 1967).

Thanks, tencentpenny!
I bank with three major banks, actually... and I also visit a few branches of smaller banks sometimes where I don't have accounts... sometimes they will sell you coins, other times not... never hurts to try though!

Um yeah... it happened AGAIN today! Same branch as the previous times, and again, a different teller. He had $30 in halves, and one was the old style wrapper... This time I took a peek at both ends when I got to my car, but waited until I got home to open it... a Franklin on one side, a BU 40% 1976-S on the other... I poured it out on the table just now... 5 Walkers, 2 more Franklins, and 3 more BU 1976-S 40%-ers, along with 4 each 1972 and 1972-D... The silver breakdown by date: 5 Walkers: Dateless, 1917, 1934, 1935, 1936 3 Franklins: 1950, 1950-D, 1952 4 Kennedys: BU 1976-S 40% (4) I've come to the conclusion that someone has inherited a coin accumulation and have no idea what they have... when they need money they turn in a roll of halves to that branch... Needless to say, visiting that branch a time or two a week has become a priority now, even if it is a tiny bit out of the way. Other than those three rolls of Buffalos I found there earlier this year, the other denominations (cents, dimes, quarters) haven't yielded anything out of the ordinary.

Well this is becoming much too common, Another 4 box skunk to the start of my seek. I wonder how long this skunk streak is going to last? I believe that is 28 boxes in a row without any silver. I will just keep rolling along.

I'll be moving soon and after taking about a year and a half break (several skunk boxes and heavy work load), decided to do two movies re boxes before I move, no silver, 11 NIFC, one 2008S proof.
I'll have to try my luck at my next location.

Always fun to find a proof. The NIFC are still nice, too.

So far things are not getting better and only time will tell. Picked up 8 boxes today, and all 8 boxes skunked. The Feds are quick turning my dumps, Had several coins I marked from 6/20/18. I think they are trying to discourage me LOL. In the past I rarely ever saw coins I dump and now its very common. There is always next week, and the week after. I just hope I don't hit 100 skunks in a row. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Please keep sharing you posts they help keep me motivated.
