First bank had 11 rolls, no silver, 4th bank drive through had 1 half, a 1964 dark toned. Total of only 5 loose in the teller trays. No Ikes, 10 SBA. Webekin

I hit the motherlode this weekend.
So on Saturday morning I'm helping the spouse with a work event, after which I watch the England vs. Sweden game. When that game ends, I have an hour to check out the local area and hunt halves. I don't find any halves until right near the end at this one credit union I've never been to before. I've got $119 on me, because the rest of my money is rather tied up in other halves and a box of pennies I've recently bought (skunked on those halves, got a few wheats and two Canadians out of the box).
So I've got my $119 and I buy that much in half dollars from the credit union, and they don't have rolls. It's all loose. So they go in back and count it all up and bring it out on a tray so they can put it in a bag for me, and I can already see that this is a good haul - there's definitely silver, and some of it's even sitting right on top of the pile.
Out of that $119, I find 56 40% silver halves, 2 1964s, and a 1993 clad proof.
It was near closing time, so I resolved to come back this morning with a good amount more money, right after dumping all my loose coin that I've been working on. I also pull out my coin purse and the couple emergency dollar coins I have, just in case. I get to the credit union about ten minutes after opening time and ask first if they have any old big dollar coins hanging around (hey, with as much silver as I got the first time, I figured there might be a chance at some silver dollars, but no dice). Then I ask if they can check how much they have in halves, and they say they have $357 left in the back. I happen to be carrying $359 on me, so I buy the whole lot.
And it was worth it. Two more clad proofs - 1990 and 2006 and 172 40% halves in the pile. That's over $500 in silver from two visits to one bank in two days.
Can't upload pictures, unfortunately, as they're too big for me to trim down even with the image optimizer and still have everything in there.

Great haul, Saint Ridley! You caught my good mojo! Quote: Then I ask if they can check how much they have in halves, and they say they have $357 left in the back. Bizarre that this happened to me too (see a few pages back)... when I asked the one bank if they had any halves the other week, they had $92 of them, and I had $94 on me. I got a whole roll of Bens out of that, 10 40%-ers, and strangely a 2009-D NIFC.
