6 Boxes:
5 - 90% (4-1964,1962)
12 - 40%
Proofs:
1972,1999,2000(with deep hard scratches across the face)
Kinda makes you wonder, why is there proofs and why the heck would you scatch a proof? I can tell it was intentionally scratched? The only thing I can think of is some kid got a hold of it or some accidently marked/hit/scratched the proof coin and they were ticked and didn't want it anymore
because of a little mark. So they would destroy the beauty of the coin and get rid
of it. What a shame.

CoinMania - I've also found 2 proofs where someone has scratched an X across Kennedy's face. It is a shame, because even if they are impaired proofs, someone would give them a home!

My usual weekly box had brown wrappers on this week (never had those before). I think they may be Brinks? Anyway, they were lousy. Not a sniff of silver!

Gothic Florin:

Same here, brown wrappers the last 2 weeks.

I was thinking the same thing- "BRINKS WRAPPERS- OH NO!" but there are no words "BRINKS" on the wrappers, so I don't know for sure where these are coming from, but I agree, they are TERRIBLE!

The outside box marking colors are a bright sunshine yellow as oppossed to the darker orange/yellow color of boxes that have the String &Son Inc yellow and white wrappers inside and it's been zilch for finding any nice volume of silver!

* The last 2 boxes I just got were the "OLD BOXES" so I'm hoping my orders for this week are back to String & Son Wrappers etc!*

I'll keep you posted!

* On a different note- Naturally, not 1 Silver Quarter from a $1K bag of quarters over the week-end, but I did find 2 real nice DDR's -2009P 25 Cent District of Columbia DDR 007 and DDR 011- I posted pics of them over on the Variety/ErrorForum if anyone is interested.*

1 box over the weekend.

Scored
2 - 40%ers
1 - 2005 "S" mint Proof (not silver)! (kinda beat up....but decent)

Makes you wonder how/why someone would "crack" a Proof Set and just spend it ? ......should be in an album somewhere......but oh well....it's now in my collection !

It can happen when someone that is not a collector acquires a collection, be it from inheritance or thievery.

As I've said before......I prefer "String" Fed rolls versus "customer wrapped" ones.
I've had luck with both.....but moreso with String's.

I relieved a teller of $10.50 in loose halves today and scored a 1969-D.
