Eddiespin you crack me up

Well of the 3 boxes I picked up yesterday, box one contained no pearls. So that is 2 pearls in the last 11 fed boxes I have gotten.

Will update with the other 2 boxes later this weekend...

one question, that I am not sure was addressed here, but what do you guys do with all the finds? I cannot decide what to do. I eventually want to sell them, but I dont know how much to hoard up before I sell. I have sold 1 roll and I have sold 5 at a time. I seemed to have done better selling the roll.

just curious how much you guys save up and then sell or what else you do with them

I'm obligated to pick up another box today (I ordered it last week), and I just hate to do that, because these all have stunk lately. These Saturday tellers are due for another box of donuts, too, so this box is going to cost me. I'm sure we'll go in and get it, though.

Anywho, just want to add...

HalfCrazy: we're all half crazy!

Tls867: the "short one" and I are having a blast (hope it continues)!

SDcoinguy: We continue to hoard ours. I see that as a great thing in these hard economic times, where, let's face it, too many people out there don't have two nickels they could rub together (unfortunately).

Editing...

Hybes: Just a little theory I got on those proofs you found. They're going to go up in price, relative to the business strikes. Maybe not tomorrow, but down the road some. Same goes for the NIFCs, generally, because the current pricing is still based on the presumption these coins aren't circulating. That's why I think it pays to hang onto those (at least, the proofs), regardless of condition. Good finds, BTW.

Searched 2 Brinks boxes and found 1 40%, disappointing. I searched 2 Loomis boxes and found 5 40% and 2 proofs, my first 2009 S.

A bank I visited had $420 left from a box that a customer had ordered (but only wanted a portion). Took about $150 home, found 1 Franklin and 1 NIFC. First 90% in a NF String roll!

I picked up $80.00 in customer rolled halves at my CU. When the teller was handing them to me, she stopped and said "I have to cover the account number" that the customer had written on the rolls. Unfortunately, they were 4 digit account numbers - 1971, 1972, 1972 etc. Yep, each roll was sorted by date. At least it didn't cost me any money.

Americanmafia: I only find 1 proof every 8 or 9 boxes I would say, so you are way ahead of me! Some clown often vandalizes them unfortunately.

Went through 4 boxes yesterday and found:
17-40%ers
3-90%ers
1-Benny 1963-D
1-Panama coin.
Im picking up 2 more boxes today.
Im going on vacation to Mexico for 10 days at the end of the week. Cant wait to go metal detecting and to go coin shopping to all the jewelry stores that sell you coins based on silver or gold value and not on numismatic value. I have been able to pick up some really good pieces that way. Last time I was able to pick up a few Morgan dollars in MS (they all graded PCGS MS61-63) condition for $10.
What still surprise me is how these pieces get down there.
