motos, I don't know why any bank would close an account because you deposit too much coin. money is money. whenever you give a bank money (make a deposit) they make money on it, in the form of invested interest.

Judging by some of the posts in the last day or so it looks like the sleeping silver monster is once again raising its head!

I thought I had read about people getting their accounts closed because of too much dumping. That's all I was really concerned about.

Hell yes some banks will close your account for over dumping. Or just for no reason. In my experience the tellers and other bank employees either love me or hate me. I've even gone a few dates with tellers I got to know from coin roll hunting. And I've also wanted to do some very bad things to some other tellers who were down rite nasty to me. And when I spoke to there superiors they could have cared less. I would then proceeded to chew them out in a professional way. So the point is that you never know how they will treat you. Take care of the banks that like you and don't waste your time at the ones that have s working at them.

I'll just add the reason you'll likely never get any help from the managers is because they have to work with these dopes and depend on them long after you're gone.

i once had a TD bank tell me that I wasnt allowed to dump halves in their machines anymore because it was taking up way to much of the teller's time, I thanked them and returned the next week with 20,000 nickels. It took them well over a half an hour to count them all even with the machine (it kept getting clogged lol). ~~~~

1st $500 bag in a while for me today. Not horrible results:
1 - 1964 90% 3 - 40% 1 - 1981 proof 1 - 1973 BU - looks like it was made yesterday.
No NIFC, still LOTS and LOTS of red nail polished and red magic markered halves in my bag.

Picked up 3 CWR's today along with $8.00 loose in halfs:
90%: 2- 64P JFK's
7- 40%er's.
Did better on $30.00 in CWR's then boxes, only problem is, at least by me, no bank usually has CWR's!
