that sucks. I hope I don't get your dump box on wednesday! dimes are usually consistent for me too. I usually pull at least one per box. skunk boxes are pretty rare, but just as rare as multiple silvers per box for me.

Box 2 for the weekend was 3 40%. Box 3 was a skunk.
As mentioned before I get my boxes from Wells. I return them back to Wells in a bank bag and they run thru the coin counter. I wouldnt return a bunch of halves without knowing what I was bringing in dollar wise.

so so they have plastic bags they GIVE you, or do you have to buy them. and are they only for merchants/business people? or can the average joe walk on wells and ask for a coin bag...

just finished $1500 worth.........totally skunked. And some had over 50% of them marked with a purple sharpie - ruined a lot of nice coins. In any event, I'm done wasting my time. With all these marked coins it is abt impossible to put together a really nice set anymore. I've searched a lot of coins and never did that. ***Edited by Staff - Please Review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

SD: I'm an average joe. I just ask for coin deposit bags whenever I run out. they usually ask how many I need and i'll just ask for 4 or 5 at a time.

Very nice score on the Barbers, AmericanaMafia.
I picked up two $1000 bags from the bank this afternoon. The first had a very beaten up 1983 proof, but no silver. I've just started the second bag and have so far found a 1966 JFK. I'll update with the rest of the results tomorrow.

My introductory post in this thread promised pictures. So, to get things started, here's a picture of the two commemorative halves I've found while roll searching, an 1893 Columbian Exposition commemorative and a 1995 Civil War Battlefield proof.
