motos: Congrats!

Those numbers are fantastic coming from BRINKS boxes (IMHO)

Brinks boxes by me are so bad, I stopped ordering them, but since you are having great success with them, maybe I should give it another try.

Keep up the good luck!

Thanks everyone

SD they are being delivered by Brinks. And they are paper wrapped Brinks rolls that I have been getting all along. The paper feels old though. The box has three large staples holding it together. I recently had another bank start ordering boxes too and today I got one of these "good" boxes from them. My guess is Brinks ran out of there normal boxes and now they are starting to use some of the older stuff. I hope it continues. I will try and get a picture of the box and the wrappers.

thanks Motos!

yea I recently joined wells fargo and over here, they are the only bank I know of that uses brinks. the one box I got was a skunk. but when you dump, do you dump at the same branch, ie. chase, different location? I ask because are you ever curious about receiving the dumps in the boxes you get?

in my experience, I had been getting boxes from chase, and dumping at a nother chase in a different location. I found out I was getting alot of my same coins, and multiple other dumps from the same hunters. you are very fortunate to not get your dumps back...

Well I buy 2 boxes from BoA (A), and 2 more from smaller, local banks (B and C). 3 of the 4 boxes are coming with Brinks wrappers, and the other is coming with String and Son wrappers, (not sure who delivers those).

All 4 boxes are dumped upon a further bank (D).

A B C and D are all different Banks. I chose the D bank though because of its faster, more accurate, and larger half bag capacity ( TD Bank's was only 100 dollars while this one is 1000).

As for getting coin back I was under the impression it was NEARLY impossible to get your coin back (provided you weren't searching 10k a week or something). The coins go from coin counter bag/banks back to FED who then reissue coin back to the coin wrapping companies. I may be wrong on this process but I would think that's how it goes. I think it depends on how many people searching in your area on how fast you might get your own coins back. Once again I am not an expert on this process and I hope someone with a little more knowledge can help with this.

Also I am formulating my own theories on how the Brinks (or maybe all wrapping companies) people are issuing boxes of coin. I started the half boxes last year in August-ish. From then till about four weeks ago I was getting the standard 1 silver or nothing boxes. But then miracously these older boxes (which I will still try and get a pic of) started showing up. The first time I got one of these magic boxes my ordering teller said that I almost didn't get a box this week because they (Brinks) couldn't find a box to bring, or something to that effect. Now I think that Brinks uses the LIFO method and not the FIFO method. That is the only explanation that I can think of that I would start getting these magic boxes all of a sudden after I had gone through so many before.

I was doing 500 a week but now I am at 2000 a week, gotta mine this silver vein while the silver lasts!

Whew... done.

sounds good motos.

that is about as much as I know as well. I was doing 1k a week. every thursday my bank got the boxes in. and I would dump them back the same day, thursd/friday///

then I would pick up more boxes the following week. same day. now that I have wells, I may try a few more boxes and then start using chase as my dump, seeing as I have found 5-8 different markings per box. whereas the brinks box yeilded only 1 marked coin. now that is not to say I am getting dumps that are unmarked. but its a lot more fun searching when you dont have 8 other hunters brands in the mix...

but, both of our theories may be busted, if every bank that deals the same wrappers, goes to the same location.. then that would mean we would no doubt get ours back at some point in time. but by the sounds of it, there may be others in your area searching too if you are getting the older boxes... you better start increasing your haul..!

IDK what to think any more. I'm just playing the game while the silver lasts. Be on the look out for these though. Some super sweet quality pics with my 5 year old web cam that I just found!

Just finished the school year up and back to my favorite hobby! Rounded up a nice 16 40% haul the other day and hopefully more people will be dumping their sivler to pay for their vactions. Motos way to go with your hot boxes...Im interested in your LIFO and FIFO theories could be true.
