So I'm still waiting on my box...picked up $5 in loose today. 1 40% (67). 6 NIFC, 2010D, 2010P, 2x 2009D, 2x 2007D. I think loose and CWR coins might be the way to go. I may just tell my lousy branch to forget about the box.

Congrats on the BRINKS finds- I'm shocked that it was Brinks- every Brink's box that I've ever gotten has been a complete disaster!
As unbelievable as it sounds, I've found a grand total of 1 Silver coin while searching at least 20 Brink's boxes.
I usually order 1 box of Brinks from a TD Bank a week and I skipped this week as last week was garbage again with Brinks.
My primary orders are String & Son from other local banks.
Maybe sooner or later I'll find some SILVER in a Brinks Box yet!

I'm trying to remember the first (and currently) only box I've gotten. I think I only pulled 1 40% from it. I've had much better results from loose coins and the rare time I've managed to finnd CWRs

I dumped the leftovers from my last two boxes yesterday and saw some halves in the teller's tray, I asked the teller if he had any more halfs and big dollars. I ended up with 108 ikes, a 1899o Morgan dollar, a 1935 Peace dollar, and 2 40% halves. both the silver dollars are very dark, and the 1899 is in g or less. Chuckster, I find that td has 2 types of boxes they receive from brinks. The first is square and labled 500 halves and like you say usually produces very little, the other type is similar but has large brown stripes near the top. These boxes are the ones that are producing for me. Occasionaly td will give me a string and sons box, but only rarely (this has always been when I order 1500 or more). -XoG

very nice haul xog...on both counts. I stopped ordering boxes as my luck was terrible and it was getting to be a real pain to dump them. And absolutely no luck on the CWR stuff.......I deal with 2 diff banks (3 branches of each), so I'm going to six banks and cannot find anyone with loose halves. They just never have them.
Looks like a dead issue for me.
