Did another sweep today, netting 19x 40% and 2x '64's. It pays to check "tough" banks. My friend works at another branch of my big silver bank today (20 of the 21 silver pieces) and she said that ALL "funny money" (halves, dollar coins, and deuces) are immediately put away for ship-out, even if the next guy in line wants them. In addition, non-customers are not served. Looks like this branch (fortunately for me) does things a little differently!

Nothing in 2 boxes, nothing in 200 CWRs.
Another box coming.
I too cannot get the halves from TD.
I Sell the silver that I find, take my investment back and keep the rest to invest in
other coins. I go to a dealer who gives me a pretty good price. I am going to be buying a large amount of 90% so I might try and sell some on Craigslist to get a little bit more out of them. Melt or a pinch more.

amazing day... 4th day doing this. still waiting on my 3 cases next week.. I was helping a friend about a hour from my house. so I told here to stop at this one bank away from our house. it had 2 diff. banks on same block. so first bank. they said they had none. second bank they gave me 3 rolls. I didnt open yet because I usually open with wife.... so we went and did what we had too. went into bank at Walmart...lady said they hand none.. so as I came out to the car. my friend was on the phone and those 3 rolls were sitting there... so I opened one.. I could have  .. all silver... my heart was racing lol. all 40%. same with the next 2 rolls... 60 silver lol.. so on way home we stopped at one more bank.. got 11 rolls.. nothing.. all I can say was ... what a rush lol... its been a good 4 days.. spent about $1950 and got 91 silver halves. 5 of them 64s.. what alot of fun... |
