weighing rolls does not work. I tried it a couple weeks ago and as I weighed the rolls and put them in the box, a roll with an ender caught my eye. lucky I noticed it cause it weighed exactly the same as all the others. turned out to be my first 1970d.

Boxes 2 and 3 for the year skunks, also got 90$ in rolls earlier this week, skunked, gonna go back there today, and get the rest they have. Finally got my order together, no boxes next week, but I'm good for 2 a week after that.

I'm no expert on Ikes, but I could Probably help NyBrian. I know there's also 2 different fonts used on the bicentennial Ikes, too. I collect a p&d of each font. The 1972 three types I believe is mostly defined by the planet earth on the reverse of the Ikes. If the islands below Florida are east of the southern tip of the state, it's type I. If the islands are west of the tip, sort of in the middle of the tip, it's type III. If you can't see any islands at all, give yourself a pat on the back, you've found a rare type II. That's assuming it's not PMD, post-mint damage. |

First box ever and found a 1992-S on the open end of a roll. The back side was showing so I did not immediately see the mint mark but I knew immediately it was too pristine to be normal. BTW, 11.2 g weight means it is not silver and the angle of the picture seems to magnify a faint scratch which is nowhere as prominent as it appears.   Edited by kenscott

Yes, just moments after I posted the pictures I placed in a nice foldover
so my hands would no longer touch it.
Also, the second box had a sticker on the front of one of the rolls so I do not
think these boxes are from Brinks of the like. I think my relationship with my new
secondary bank may have it moving to my primary bank.
I LOVE IT!

I can't believe it! For the past 3 or so weeks, I've been thinking of discontinuing my weekly box of halves. I've never struck a single silver from CRH boxes of halves. I've lost count of how many boxes I've done last I counted was 9 and that was around Christmas (and this forum doesn't make it easy to track down your prior posts). I've gotta be up to about 15 boxes!
Anyway, I found a 1968D! It's not in great shape, but it's silver! Also, it's my last hole filler besides the 1970D and a 1964D.
I also found 1977S and a pretty beat up 1996S as well as 4x NIFC.
Just when I was about to write off searching boxes, on my 5th to last roll, I strike silver! If I were edge searching, I wouldn't have found it. It looked like the clads.

1970-D was only available in mint sets, not being released in general circulation you don't find em often via CRH

Found 3 very nice 1987 P's in the same roll. Someone must've busted open some mint sets. What are these worth in MS60-MS63?
