How much are 74 DDOs worth? Is it worth the effort/cost of buying a camera that can zoom in that far?

Just checking in here while on vacation. Nice to see the finds are still going on.

I went through $ 67.00 in lose halves and got one 1968. Better then nothing! Usually I get my two boxes on thursday but am giving it a break, but am fealing a void even though all I get are skunks I still feal I might connect with a monster box.

Last/this week did a total of 8 boxes...silver skunk. Some nifc including 1980 s. will order boxes again in another week. Have bad feeling getting same coins back so marked a few for the first time.

grabbed 2 more extra boxes during this week.

box 3...(6) 40%, (1) 90% Ken....1971 proof
box 4...(5) 40%...(1) NIFC

box 6....(4) nifc.....plus one pope john paul color coin 2005
Not bad second half of week, got my second 90%....12 total silvers.
Good luck to everyone getting coins this weekend, I'm going camping, gonna try and hit a few out of town banks, and hunt what I can find.

Stumbled upon your blog during my recent research session. I am not a collector, and recently received what appears to be a very rare role of 1964 Kennedy half dollars, rare as in I cannot locate any for sale on the WorldWideWeb. It is an uncirculated "shotgun" roll (rolled by Loomis for a bank back in 1964) of not 20 coins, but 40 coins for a face value of $20. Any recommendations on where to find a "market value" for something like this if I decide to sell, and best way to sell something like this? Thanks for any info, Coin-Noob |

From what I'm seeing in todays posts, my problem was I only got two boxes. Nobody really got going until box three or four.
