"The NIFC coins - as jbuck said - were Not Intended For Circulation and cover the years from 2001 until present. Also, the 1987 JFKs were NIFC" After I collect the NIFC's what do I do with them and what would be there value. I have a pile of 2001 some 2002's and a 2006

Colles: So I was entertaining halting an auction or 2 due to low bidding and offering the coins to this community, but as it turns out, you cannot do that so all my stuff sold. I do however still have (2) 1964 Accented hair mint sets and a 1998 JFK/RFK commerative set to sell. Love to hear from the moderator about my offering them to this community prior to offering to ebay.

I wonder if somewhere in the world there is a box of $500 in pre 64 half's. Made in the 60's and never made it to the bank.

did they even roll /box coins back then like they do now? I thought I thought it was a more recent thing. I got a really old beat up looking roll of halves the other day and I thought to myself.. OOOH.. I wonder how long this has been sitting around. Didnt find anything worth saving however.

If a person found a box of pure, 1964 and earlier halves the value would be as follows:
Spot at $27.54 1000 coins at $9.96 each Total $9,961.11
If spot hits $27.65, you would break the $10,000 mark at $10,000.89.

I would love to find a box with one silver in it! Would love to know how you are doing it, but I know I never will. Congrats keep it up. On another note what do I look for in my 64's for the accented hair? I have tried to find a pic but nothing. Box 20 something this weekend skunk! One more for this week still at the bank, but do not have high hopes.

accented hair proof only. easiest to look for the notch in the "I". it's highly unlikely you will find one in circulation.
