Samuel Tan - are you trying to joke around with us? I enlarged the pic and found a lot of errant pixels within the date area that look like some photo manipulation Click on the pic to enlarge it and you can see what appear to be "pixel stripes" from a clone tool and some wrong colored pixels in areas they should not be. I do a lot of photo touch up and manipulation (adding in people who were absent for group pics, adding backdrops, masking out area, adding objects etc.) for the school yearbook where my wife teaches. These artifacts in the pic you posted are the kind of things I usually end up checking for/clearing up on a macro level after the primary step in changing an area of a picture. This would be a cool coin though!

Earle42, I am glad you react like that, that's mean I may be in to something good.javascript:insertsmilie(' ') I don't know much about photo manipulation. I AM DEAD SERIOUS, this is beyond my ability. May be somebody could manipulate scanned photo, but I don't think that somebody could manipulate live photos. Besides, I told the story in this forum how to get this coin in the past. I would like to know about this coin, please ask for any photo or anything else.

bishftl, you mention:"is there something wrong with the rim/edges.?". What about it? Are you talking to me or to somebody else? I didn't see anything there.

The last two photos are actual photos, not scanned like the first two. I cropped it since I try to load under 100kb, I become to look like scanned.

Well that is a cool JFK samuel tan! I'd like one just like it. Or better yet - I'd like one where the 1976 date was gone and just the 1776 was there.

While we at it, here is another one. NO PHOTO ALTERATION! Those "water spots" comes with it. I don't want to wash it. I would like to know is this error or plugged die? Some value, worth to keep or not. I also have Jefferson without nose, I might post the picture if there is an interest. Earle42, I'll make you one without 1776, but that guy in the picture wasn't born at that year. People will realized right away that it is a fake. (This time, I am joking!)

I notice that my boxes (Stringer & Son) have new stamps on them that state the date of inspection ... all of these boxes have been SKUNKS. You guys notice this? A few months ago I got some monster boxes and none of them had inspection dates stamped on them?

Everyone enjoy the fact you can still get boxes. I am now unable to get them at all so it will likely be going around to various banks, and their branches, and asking for CWR and tray coins.
This being said, I may be able to get into some dimes.
