Oh I misread that, you saw them at a small local bank, try them out for halves if you can. Your lucky, I cant figure out who they service here, and I drive around all day at my job.

@halfhunter I pull out every 72, 72D 73D, 74D, 82P, and 83P and check: 1. 72d, 82P, and 83P for no FG 2. 72P, 73D, and 74D for DDOs. I no longer look at 71Ds (unless a really nice one) for DDOs b/c I got tired of finding them! Since I did not keep track of the first 10 boxes the numbers are not included in these totals. But as of the last boxes I have: Totals: year........ Number found / running totall since box 10 72P........... 0/ 2556 DDO's found 72D......... 2/ 686 No FGs found 73D.......... 2/ 302 DDO found 74D.......... 1/ 329 DDO found 82P........... 0/ 83 No FGs found 83P........... 4/ 445 No FGs found Since I am on boxes 47-48, for the last 37-38 boxes I have only seen eighty-three 1982s - they are pretty scarce around here for some reason.

Kenscott:
I am happy to still be able to do boxes, but the price of doing business with boxes is not free by me.
One bank I use charges me $6.00 per box for shipping/handling servicing etc.
If I want to order more than the 4 I usually do, I can, but its going to cost me $6.00 additional per box.
Im paying $24.00 per week right now, so not finding anything is a negative, but like I said, it's the cost of doing this.
The other bank will not order more than 4 boxes weekly. Vault space will not allow them to order more than the 4.
Good luck with your CWR searches!

This weeks 12 boxes First 23 nifc Got part of someones Bu album, 21 clad bu's, 17 different dates and mint marks, plus 4 extra 96's Finally my first comm. coin Slickest kennedy Iv ever seen, plus a flat copper slug, didnt cost me a coin 1923 itailian bvono da lire(clad), 2008 dominican 25 peso massachussetts, state half, gold plated counter stamp (13) 40%, (1) 90% benny All but 5 of the 40%, and some of the nifc, came out of one box. Wish I had the rest of that dump, or coin counter pick up. All the coins had been cleaned in a sandblaster or some kind of tumbler. All the coins in the box were "dry" almost stuck together like a rough surface, and speckled in was the Bu coins, and lots of the silvers. Found that ben in there, I wonder how much more there could of been. I hope it contunues next week. usually I dont get that lucky, only had that happen one time, in my 2 weeks in a row of the proof dump I found. Interesting week again, glad I got the fun box to make it a good week.

Hey Chuckster, a Walker! I'd bet not too many of us have ever found one of those. I certainly haven't.

I haven't posted our finds in a long time but I took a total count. We've been searching Half Dollars for about a year now. We search an average of $2,000 a week. To date we have found: 85 - 90% (Walkers, Franklin's, and Kennedy's) 201 - 40% (Kennedy's) And about 25 Proofs.
