The vein or hair going down

It is a 1992, the AM are close but I don't know about the FG initials, there's something I read about the initials being different if it was the "one"

The A in STATES is perfectly centered between the two T's and the designers initials are close to the memorial indicating a Wide AM

I have a bunch of 1992 pennies, this is the only one with that hair mark going down his head.

Oh, I see what you're talking about now. Interesting.

I still think there could be a grease issue on the reverse.

Greaser on the reverse, looks like a possible die crack on his hair, it kind of reminds me of some of the 1955 cents where there are large die cracks on the obverse..

Inconclusive from the images. If there is very much more of a "width" component to the crack, plating separation is in play. Look close. A crack shouldn't have any filleting where crack meets device along its' length, but a bubble by its' nature ought to be filleted. A crack is a sudden, catastrophic event similar to a geologic fault creating a sharp-edged displacement, while a bubble is more a "rolling hill."

I think that is part of the design. I've seen it before. When I did a search for 1992 cents it I noticed it on all of the examples I saw. So it maybe just part of the design that gets weaker with die use.
